  Underwood Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church where the Word is preach from the King James Bible! All of the old hymns are sung and the members are friendly and welcoming. Sunday School starts at 10 am, church begins at 11am and 6 pm. Wednesday service begins at 7 pm.

  SHAME ON THIS CHURCH. WE WERE IN THE MINISTRY, AND BEING MEAN TO PEOPLE IS NOT CHRISTIAN! Here is what your narrow-minded attitude, and unloving behavior is causing to be posted on the Internet. Repent! No one will come to Christ with such behavior. Shame on you. It breaks my heart, and I assure you, it breaks Christ's heart as well. He was NEVER mean and hateful to the lost. What a pathetic witness. Go to the altar and beg forgiveness and guidance.

  "Pokemon trainers near Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, wanted to give you all a heads up! My girl and I grabbed food on our way out tonight and stopped in the parking lot of this church to eat and take advantage of the pokestops while we were at it. There was a lady watering the plants and no one else there. We parked between the two stops and weren't there for 5 minutes before she walked up, phone in hand and knocked on the window. I thought maybe she was playing Go! I greeted her politely and she asked what we were doing. I told her that we needed to eat really quick and would be on our way. She promptly informed us that many people had come by for the pokestops and they were calling the cops on anyone doing it. She told us it was a place for worship and to keep our intentions pure. I'm still not sure why she didn't call the police on us for eating but she definitely watched until we left. Just be cautious guys, she made it very clear that they were calling the cops on any trainers taking advantage of their parking lot!!"
